Julien was a classically trained actor, according to IMDB, and began his career performing in off-Broadway productions around New York City before moving on to acting, writing and producing films.

The actor also wrote and produced iconic film series Cleopatra Jones in the 1970s. Other films Julien appeared in include “The Black Klansman” (1966), “Psych Out (1966) “The Savage Seven” (1968), “Up Tight!” (1968) and “Getting Straight” (1970).

I will probably do a livestream podcast about Max Julien and his roll in the Oakland filmed movie The Mack in the near future. I will be discussing the true history of the movie The Mack and who was the film actually about. Frank Ward and Terry Ward was the father and uncle of my good friend Fahali Ward in the 60's and 70's in Oakland and the movie The Mack was about the two brothers. Unfortunately Frank Ward did not see his movie made because "allegedly" Huey P Newton and Bobby Seals of the Black Panthers had Frank Ward murdered days before the release of the film in February 1973. So there's a very sinister story behind Max Julien the movie The Mack and the Black Panthers. Maybe y'all should ask Forgotten KingzTV 2.0 to do a livestream podcast about the movie and Max Julien and I'll join the podcast to give yall some historical information about the most inspiring pimpin' movie of all time The Mack.

RIP Mr Max Julien. Thank you for your Talent SIR.
