Kanye and Gap made a 10-year deal for “Yeezy Gap” and my friends on TMZ wanted to get my take on the deal. Twenty years ago, LL Cool J repped FUBU in a Gap commercial, so it’s great to see Kanye merge rap culture and Gap in a real deal! What I really want to see is Gap put Kanye on the board. Now more than ever, companies need black, LGBTQ+, females and latinos on their board – not for show, but to make real change and have boards reflect what America really looks like. This was a very good look at what is going on and will continue to happen in this country and the world! On the brink of covid and black lives matter Kanye West has absolutely made a huge success with this deal especially with his major influence in the rap culture and how it can hear more and more black entrepreneurs and celebrities to have an even bigger impact past record sales but ultimately influencing the minds of the young in a great way seein where one has come from and where you can go if you keep moving forward! I love this deal! It’s great for him, it’s even better for us!
