I’m transferring to NU as a sophomore in the fall and would like to join a sorority in order to meet people as soon as I can – do sororities typically hold informal recruitment during fall quarter? And if so, which ones?

A few do, but usually not the sororities you’d want to join. AXO, Chi O, DZ, and KD will probably all have informal fall recruitment. Zeta, Gamma Phi, Pi Phi, Tridelt, A Phi, and DG *might* have informal recruitment. Kappa and Theta would rather eat a piece of cake than hold informal recruitment.

tridelt definitely does not do informal. i’m in theta and even i know that. whoever wrote this is obviously not in a top 3 house. (none of which do informal, duh)

i know this is an anonymous site, but i’m suprised how much bitchiness bustling llama has conveyed in three short sentences. Come on, is it really necessary to be a bitch for no reason? Coulda just said tridelt doesn’t do informal rush. Same information, much nicer.

I know for a fact that Tridelt has done informal recruitment at least once in recent years. They often don’t, but generally only the bottom six houses have informal recruitment (and sometimes even they don’t do it).
