i’ll be a freshman at troy in the fall, and i’m participating in rush. they have five sororities, which i know is far less than you have at alabama, but i’m still really excited to get involved with greek life. which sororities there are considered to be good/top there (if any)? they don’t have their own acb page so i’m hoping somebody at bama has some helpful information. thanks!

sorry, we don’t associate with troy. i’m sure that whatever they call greek life there is cute and more than satisfactory for the glorified high school that troy is, but here at alabama, only the best of the best will show up on our radar.

try checking around your local unemployment lines and homeless shelters. i’m sure you’ll find plenty of troy graduates there that can give you some insights into their greek structure.

You disgust me. But I’m not going to waste the time to fully explain everything that is wrong with that arrogant mindset you’ve got there – pride comes before the fall every time. Have fun winding up alone and sad in life with no one actually caring about you since you’re too “above” them.

To answer the OP, I hear Alpha Gam is pretty good at Troy. But I would suggest talking to a guy who goes there and already knows which ones are the best, so as to avoid any bias. Best of luck with rush, and sorry about “axiomatic steer” – just shows that assholes are everywhere, in every school.

well hesitant tank, i’m glad that you’re ok with mingling among the serfs, but i feel that sleeping with dogs leads to fleas.

it’s not just troy, i consider many of the students at alabama to be less than human as well. i’m upper crust, i’m old row, i’m just better. sorry for being honest, but i’m not sorry.

don’t try to pretend that you’re any different. your sorority doesn’t let niggers or rednecks or any other undesirables in either. you’ve just made up nice little reasons to justify your behavior when the truth is, you’re just better than that trash.

I used to go there, and I wasn’t in a sorority so I have a more unbiased opinion. They’re all good and bad in their own ways. Personally, I think Alpha Gam is the best. They’re the prettiest and well rounded. KD is good too. Phi Mu girls don’t hang out with anyone but themselves. They’re really cocky for no reason. Chi O is probably the worst, even though most would say it was ADPi. ADPi has the reputation of being the “fat girl sorority” but truth be told Chi O is no better. Chi O has a better name, and that’s it. It always drove me crazy how they looked down on the ADPi girls when really Chi O was Redneck Heaven. That’s just my personal opinion, everyone is entitled to their own.

The real difference between Alabama and Troy sorority rush is at Alabama they look at your feet to see what shoes you’re wearing. At Troy, they look at your feet to compare tattoos.

I used to go to Troy and wasn’t in a sorority, so I have an unbiased opinion. Every sorority has good and bad points. I think Alpha Gam is probably the best. They’re the prettiest and well rounded. KD is good too. Phi Mu is overrated, they think they’re the best but they’re pretty anti-social. Chi O thinks they’re a lot better than they are, but they have a strong sisterhood. ADPi is well liked by fraternities and has the nicest girls, but they don’t have the best reputation. That’s just my opinion, everyone is entitled to their own.

The most important thing is to pick a house that you feel comfortable in, not the one you think is “best”.
